Next - 14 Managing work with Assigned To Me
This article explains how to create a Wórkiro Note to securely share files with a connection, what the recipient experiences, and how to archive the Note when it is no longer needed.
Creating a Note Thread
- Open the relevant connection and select the files you want to share.
- Add the selected files to a new thread and choose Note as the thread type.
- Enter a clear, descriptive title so the recipient understands what is being shared.
- Add the relevant participant to the Note.
- Add any explanatory text in the Note body if required.
- Confirm the documents are attached.
- Apply tags if needed to support organisation and searching.
- Click Create to send the Note.
The Recipient's Experience
The recipient will receive a branded email notification with an option to view the Note. From the Note view they can:
- Read any details or explanatory text included.
- Add comments to provide feedback or ask questions.
- Open the Attachments tab to view and download the shared files.
No further action is required from the recipient. The Note is simply a secure way to share information.
Reviewing and Archiving a Note
Once the Note has been sent, it will remain visible on the connection's overview until archived. To review and archive a Note:
- Return to your view of the Note thread to read any comments the recipient has added.
- When the Note is no longer needed, open it from the connection overview.
- Click the three-dot menu and select Archive.
Archived Notes can be found in the Closed Threads area alongside other closed or archived items.
