This article explains how to create a task template in Wórkiro for repeatable work, and how to schedule it to create threads automatically on a recurring basis.

Creating a Task Template

  1. Click the settings cog and select Thread Templates from the menu.
  2. Click Add and choose Task Template.
  3. Enter a short, clear title for the template.
  4. Add participants if needed, or leave empty to keep the template for personal use.
  5. Add guidance text and attach any supporting documents. Documents can be dragged and dropped directly into the template.
  6. Set team access. Select None to keep the template private.
  7. Click Create, give the template a meaningful name, and click Save.

Using a Template

To create a thread from a template, start from anywhere in Wórkiro that allows you to create a new thread, choose the Template option, select your template from the list, and click Create.

Scheduling a Template

To set a template to create threads automatically on a recurring basis:

  1. Hover over the template and open the breadcrumbs menu.
  2. Select Schedule.
  3. Set the recurrence pattern, for example monthly, every 1 month, on the 7th.
  4. Choose whether the schedule runs indefinitely, stops after a set number of occurrences, or stops on a specific end date.
  5. Review the schedule summary showing the dates threads will be created.
  6. Adjust the start date or any other settings if needed, then confirm the schedule.

Once scheduled, a recurring icon will appear on the template. Wórkiro will automatically create a new thread on each scheduled date.
