If someone has sent you a thread using Wórkiro but you do not have a Wórkiro account yourself, you can still send files back to them using a secure link. This is done through a restricted view called Private Thread View (PTV), which only shows you the specific thread you were invited to. This article explains how to attach and upload files using the link sent to you by email.
How to Send Files Back Via A Secure Link
To send files back via a secure link in Wórkiro, follow these steps:
- Click the "View Details" link in the email sent to you by the Wórkiro user.
- On the page that opens, accept the Acceptable Use and Privacy Policy by clicking Accept & Continue.
- In the Comment field on the thread, click the paperclip icon to attach a document.
- Choose where to upload the file from: your device, Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive.
- If uploading from your device, select the file and click Open.
- Review the file preview, then click the Upload Files button to send it.
Once uploaded, the Wórkiro user who sent you the thread will be notified and will see the file in their Wórkiro account.
Notes
- You do not need a Wórkiro account to complete this process.
- This restricted view (Private Thread View) only shows the thread you were invited to, not any other content on the sender's account.
- Accepting the Acceptable Use and Privacy Policy registers your email address, so it cannot later be used to sign up for a separate full Wórkiro account with the same address.
