Tag your threads and documents privately in Workiro to help you organise, prioritise and group your workload as you wish. These tags are private in that they are only visible to you, and not to other team members.
Creating new tags
Creating a private tag is simple. Either use the 'Create new tag... button when applying existing tags or you can create your private tags from the 'Settings > Tags' screen by selecting the Add button.
By default, the new tag will be private.
You can create groups of tags by using a single forward slash "/"
Applying tags to threads and documents
Simply apply a tag when creating your thread from scratch using the 'Relates to...' control and select 'Tags'.
When applying Private tags, select one or more from the list.
You can apply and remove tags for existing threads by opening a thread for editing, changing as you wish and then re-saving.
Applying tags to documents
When uploading a new document to a connection (or editing document details) you may use the 'Relates to...' control in the same manner to apply a private tag to the document.
Viewing threads and documents by tag
Once you have tagged your threads and documents, you can view them in different ways.
- Navigate to a connection 'Overview' to search for threads and documents by tag.
- Groups of tagged threads can also be usefully found in 'Assigned to me', and only include threads that are currently assigned to you.
- Tagged threads viewed within the 'Smart views' area include all threads with the tag that you are participating in, no matter who they are assigned to.
