Once a task has been completed, make it official and mark it as complete in Workiro, keeping any other participants updated & allowing everyone to remain focused on those that remain.
Within a task, there are a number of ways this can be done, by clicking the 'Mark complete' button in either:
1. The Task Header
2. The Task Status menu
3. The Task Context (...) menu
As a note, you can only fully 'complete' tasks that you originally created.
For tasks that you are participating in but were originally created by someone else, this action will instead 'suggest' to the task creator that the task is complete, prompting them to officially mark it as complete on their end.
Completed tasks can still be commented on, or if necessary, can be reopened by using the 'Uncomplete' button within the Task Status or Context menus.
Cancelling tasks
If on the other hand, you no longer need to do the task, rather than mark it as completed, the task can be 'cancelled' instead via the Task Status or Context menus as shown above.
Any participants are notified that the task has been cancelled. The task be always be 'un-cancelled' at a later time if required via the same menus.
Quick actions
To save time, you can also change task status directly from the "Assigned to me" view without opening the task, by clicking the task circle icon and choosing the relevant option in the menu that opens:
