This article explains what threads are in Wórkiro and how to start using them to collaborate with colleagues and customers.

What is a Thread?

Threads are the core way to collaborate in Wórkiro. They allow you to assign tasks, request signatures, and securely share information, all supported by automatic updates, reminders, and real-time chat.

Thread Types

There are three types of thread available in Wórkiro:

  • Task threads: used to assign a clear action for someone to complete. Ideal for tracking responsibilities and ensuring work gets done.
  • Signature threads: used to get one or more documents approved and electronically signed.
  • Note threads: used to securely share files, comments, or both with colleagues and customers, keeping all related communication in one place.

Creating a Thread

To create a thread from a connection, follow these steps:

  1. Open the relevant connection in Wórkiro.
  2. Click the plus icon on the connection to open the thread creation options.
  3. Select the thread type that best matches the work you need to carry out.

Once created, you can use the built-in chat to communicate with colleagues or customers, rely on automatic updates to stay informed of changes, and configure automated reminders to ensure actions are completed on time.
