Documents can be shared internally or externally by relating them to threads in Workiro, either during thread creation or afterwards by any participant. They can also be linked to connections or projects for easy reference. Documents can be uploaded from devices or third-party integrations like Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, or added from Workiro itself. Up to 250 files of 200 MB each can be uploaded at once. Thread participants can access and preview related documents easily within the thread interface.
Adding documents to threads
1. When creating a thread choose the Upload... option
2. To upload to an existing thread use the document Icon in the comments section, or select from the menu

- Upload new documents from your device, or 3rd party integrations including Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive or Virtual Cabinet
- Add existing documents From Workiro by browsing your Connections, Projects or (where applicable) your NetSuite integration.
Other options
You can also upload new documents by dragging them from your desktop and dropping them directly on to the thread. You can even paste an image in the comments field within a thread.
Limits
You can upload up to 250 files at any one time, of up to 200 MB in size each.
Document access
Any participant on a thread can access the related documents. This can be a useful mechanism to share documents with team members in an ad hoc manner. Particularly if the documents are otherwise subject to access restrictions.
The documents related to threads can be found easily by navigating the 'X Documents' at the top of the thread.
From here you can click the row to preview the documents or use the menu to select appropriate actions
You can also open a document in the Workiro viewer by clicking the icon in the thread comments.
